another surgery this year

Well, the kick boxing didn't last long in the begining of 2009. My arms started aching, I found out the end of March I tore the long head bicept on my right shoulder. Surgery on April 7, then with being sick on and off for 5-6 months I finally got a hold of a sinus doctor who operated on me April 23. On Monday July 6 he released me from his care. In the mean time my left shoulder continued to ache more and more. After an MRI, the doctor said I needed an operation on my left rotator cuff. She happen to have an opening July 7. The nerve block didn't last long even though I was wide awake and it was a horriable pain and Ed ended up taking me to ER for 4 hours around 9:30 pm., getting home around 1:30 am. Today it has hurt almost as bad, but I surely don't want to sit another 4 hours just for a shot. I'm hoping I can fall asleep early tonight. Over the last year I have gained over 20 pounds back, it makes me depressed to think of how in the world could I have done this. Now my goal is so far down the road. I have to wait for pt to start in again after my left shoulder heals for at least 4-6 weeks. Time to rest.
